History, passion and tradition
The eighteenth-century Villa Condulmer

The charm of the past

The villa of Zerman, as we see it today, was built at the behest of the Condulmer Venetian patrician family at the end of the 17th century, on the ruins of a 14th-century Benedictine convent. Under the subsequent Austrian domination, the villa was purchased by the Graz family, a family that would later become the powerful Grassi family of Venice. Completely restored according to the taste of the time, the villa will later be acquired by the noble Piedmontese Tornielli family and will host personalities of the caliber of Giuseppe Verdi who, on a still existing piano present inside the villa, will compose part of his great Opera La astray.

Villa Condulmer Golf Club

The birth of the club

In 1958 the villa became the exclusive hotel that we still see today and, in February 1960, the Golf Club was founded with the first nine holes designed by the architect John Harrys. In the building that is now the bag deposit, the first Club House was built, which was followed by the acquisition of the current Club House with restaurant, terrace and the construction of the second nine holes, designed by Marco Croze.
